The Central Government has enacted four labor codes incorporating 29 labor regulations . These four labor codes are Wage Code 2019 (Code on Wages 2019), Industrial Relations Code 2020 (Industrial Relations Code, 2020) Social Security Code 2020 (Code on Social Security, 2020) and Occupational Safety, Health and Working Conditions Code 2020 ( Occupational Safety, Health and Working Conditions Code, 2020).
However, four labor codes have not been implemented yet. Here, most of the states of the country have pre-published the draft rules inviting comments from stakeholders regarding the four labor codes.
