Exemption To All Retail Enterprise To Remain Open For All Days Of The Year In Andhra Pradesh

The Government of Andhra Pradesh, vide Notification G.O.Ms.No.32, allowed all retail enterprises to keep open every day of the year for a period of five years from the date of issue of the notification subject to the specified conditions.

The Chandigarh Minimum Wages Notification (October 2022

The Union Territory of Chandigarh, vide Notification No. ST/ (CPI)/2022-23/2503, released the Minimum Wages effective from 1st October 2022.

Enforcement Of Provisions Of ESI Act In The Chengalpattu And Karur Districts Of Tamil Nadu

The Government of India, vide Notification No. N-17011/1/2022-P&D., extended medical benefits, provided under Regulation 95-A of the Employees’ State Insurance (General) Regulations, 1950, to the families of all insured persons in the entire area of Chengalpattu, Karur, and Salem districts in the State of Tamil Nadu with effect from November 01, 2022.

Ladakh Minimum Wages Notification (October 2022)

The Administration of Union Territory of Ladakh, vide Notification No. S.O. 117, revised the minimum rates of wages for scheduled employments, effective from November 02, 2022.

Grant Of Paid Holiday On Account Of General Panchayat Election In Sikkim

The Government of Sikkim, vide Notification No. 108/Home/2022, declared paid holiday for eligible employees on 10th November 2022, on account of the General Panchayat Election. Additionally, the Commercial establishments located within the Gram Panchayat and Zilla Panchayat areas are required to remain closed.

Exemption From Section 52(1) Of The Factories Act, 1948 On Account Of General Election In Haryana

The Government of Haryana, vide Notification No. FW/Election,2022/2263-2463, exempted the workers, enrolled as voters, in Faridabad, Fatehabad, Hisar, and Palwal districts, from the operation of Section 52(1) of the Factories Act, 1948, for the week commencing from November 20, 2022, till November 26, 2022, for the election of Members of the Zila Parishads and Panchayat Samitis in the said districts, and for the week commencing from November 27, 2022, till December 03, 2022, for the election of the Members of Gram Panchayats and Sarpanch in the said districts, to be held on November 22, 2022, and November 25, 2022, respectively. Such workers shall not be required to work on election day.

Exemption From Section 52(1) Of The Factories Act, 1948, On Account Of Re-Poll For The Post Of Panch In Haryana

The Government of Haryana, vide Notification No. FW/Election,2022/2704, exempted the workers, enrolled as voters, in Ward No. 4 & 6 of Gram Panchayat Lisana, District Rewari, from the operation of Section 52(1) of the Factories Act, 1948, for the week commencing from November 13, 2022, till November 19, 2022, on account of re-poll for the post of Panch, to be held on November 14, 2022. Such workers shall not be required to work on election day.

The Government of India, vide Notification No. G.S.R. 818(E), amended Clause 4(a) of Schedule V of Apprenticeship Rules, 1992, regarding the stipend to be paid to the apprentice.

Grant Of Paid Holiday On Account Of General Election In Gujarat

The Government of Gujarat, vide Circular No. Sr.A.7(4)/ELC/2012/131, declared paid holiday for the eligible employees of shops and establishments, on the Account of the General Election of the Legislative Assembly in Gujarat on 1st December 2022 and 5th December 2022.

The Government of India, vide Notification No. S.O.5335(E), implemented the provisions towards Chapter IV (Contribution), Chapter V (Benefits), and Chapter VI (Adjudication of Disputes and Claims) of the Employees’ State Insurance Act, 1948 (ESI Act), effective from 1st day of December 2022, in all the areas of Dindigul district in the State of Tamil Nadu.

On the Account of the General Election of the Municipal Corporation of Delhi, the Government of Haryana, vide Notification No. Elec-2022/IR-II/PSCE/Hol/37370, declared paid holiday on 4th December 2022, for the employees in shops and commercial establishments, who are enrolled as voters in Delhi.

The Government of Goa, vide Notification No.2/1/2017-GAD-III/ 2522, declared paid holiday, for the eligible employees in private establishments, industrial workers, etc., on 9th December 2022, on account of the General Election in Village Panchayat Alorna, Casarvarnem, and Chandel- Hassapur in Pernem Taluka.

Direction To Employer Registered Through MCA Portal To Comply With The ESI Act

The Regional Office, Haryana, of Employees State Insurance Corporation, vide Notification No. 13/MC/Coord, issued the direction, instructing all employers, registered through the Ministry of Corporate Affairs (MCA) Portal, to comply with various applicable provisions of the Employees’ State Insurance Act, 1948 (ESI Act), from the date of reaching the threshold limit of employees.

Revision In Rate Of Labour Welfare Fund Contribution In Tamil Nadu

The Government of Tamil Nadu, vide Notification G.O.MS.No. 161, revised the rate of contribution, under the Tamil Nadu Labour Welfare Fund Act, 1972, to twenty rupees for employees and forty rupees for employers, effective from 2nd December 2022.
