Conditions For Exemptions From Restrictions On Employing Women Workers During Night Shifts In State Of Madhya Pradesh
The Government of Madhya Pradesh, vide Notification No. 1283/443/2022/A-16, exempted all the shops and establishments from the applicability of provision related to working hours of women between 9.00 P.M. to 7.00 A.M, subject to the prescribed conditions including the prevention of acts of sexual harassment, complaint redressal mechanism, prior consent from women workers for such employment, etc.
Grant Of Paid Holiday On Account Of By-Election In Himachal Pradesh
The Government of Himachal Pradesh, vide Notification No. GAD-A(B)8-1/2021, declared Wednesday, the 10th of August 2022, as a public holiday for voters on account of the By-Elections in various Gram Panchayat, Wards of Gram Panchayat/ Wards of Panchayat Samiti/ Wards of Zila Parishad. All Industrial Establishments and shops shall remain closed on the said date in the concerned Gram Panchayat area.

Grant Of Close Day On Account Of Counting For Election In North Goa District
The Government of Goa vide notification No. 8/8/2022-MAG/L&O/Panchayat Elect/200 mts/2019 declared Friday, the 12th August 2022 as a close day for all Restaurants, Bars, Tea shops, Pan shops, Eateries and other food shops/joints (Dhabas, Gaddas) etc., situated in Rural areas of Village Panchayat jurisdiction within 200 mtrs. of the polling station on day of poll from 06.00 a.m. till end of counting of votes of respective Talukas in North Goa District.
Online Services To Apply For Exemption Under Delhi Shops And Establishments Act, 1954
The Government of Delhi, vide Office Order No. F.No.(6)/SAIT/LAB/Online-exemption/2022/4525, launched online services to receive applications for exemption under the provisions of Section 14 (Young persons and women to work during day time), Section 15 (Opening and closing hours of shops and commercial establishments), Section 16 (Close day) of the Delhi Shops and Establishments Act, 1954. The services will be available with effect from August 08, 2022, through URL https://dlabourwelfareboard.delhi.gov.in/shopexemption/.
The Kerala Shops And Commercial Establishments (Amendment) Rules, 2022
The Government of Kerala, vide Notification G.O.(P) No.78/2022/LBR, amended the Kerala Shops and Commercial Establishments Rules, 1961. The amendment omitted Rule 2E (Issue of duplicate Registration Certificate), sub-rule (3) of Rule 2G (a duplicate copy of the Registration Certificate), and Rule 12A (submission of return) of the said rules.

ESIC vide notification S. Conditions For Employing Women Workers In Factory During Night In The State Of Himachal Pradesh
The Government of Himachal Pradesh, vide Notification No. Shram (A)3-4/2022, listed the conditions for employing women during the night shift in factories. The conditions include measures for the security and safety of women employees, which include the prevention of acts of sexual harassment, provision for transportation facilities, the requirement of prior consent from women workers, etc.
Amendment To The Central Minimum Wages Notification
The Government of India, vide Notification F.No.1/4(3)/2022-LS-II, amended the rates under Central Minimum Wages provided in the previous notification published on 29-July-2022, for various categories including, construction or maintenance of roads or runways or in building operations, effective from 1st April 2021, 1st October 2021, 1st April 2022.
The Kerala Minimum Wages Notification (June 2022)
The Government of Kerala, Labour and Skills (E) Department, has revised the variable dearness allowance for employment in Shops and Commercial Establishment and employment in Computer Software Sector. As per the Notification No. DES/859/2022-P3(1), the Consumer Price Index (Cost of Living Index) Numbers applicable to employees in employment under the Minimum Wages Act (Central Act XI of 1948) for the month of June 2022 ascertained by the Director General of Economics & Statistics under clause (C) of Section 2 of the Act.
